Endeavour is an inspirational charity working at grass roots level with some of England’s most disadvantaged, disaffected and forgotten young people, providing challenge and inspiration to help them take control of their futures.

Charities, by their nature, have limited budgets and investing in marketing, rather than ‘on the ground’ support can feel like a luxury. But with competition for funding fierce, it is becoming more and more important for organisations like Endeavour to stand out from the crowd, communicate their purpose and impact, and build a brand that engenders trust with stakeholders.


Endeavour recognised they needed to refresh their brand and marketing to achieve this and asked us to work with them to create a new brand identity, website and promotional brochure, incorporating their annual report.

We worked with them through the strategy and messaging stage, taking time to understand the unique personality of the charity and how they wanted to be perceived by their various audiences – from the young people they work with, to volunteers, to funders and regulators.

We created a fresh, vibrant logo and strapline that better reflects the modern focus of the Charity. We re-built their website around the new brand, allowing endeavour to tell its story clearly, providing a platform for them to celebrate their successes. We carried this through to the promotional brochure and annual report which had to be ready for the Charity’s AGM.

Despite the lean budget and a tight timescales, Steve the CEO at Endeavour said “We are extremely pleased with the finished result. Work Design took the time to understand what we wanted and as ideas developed, took on board comments to provide new designs… They come across as a small friendly team who really care about you as a customer”.
